Building a new brand identity and positioning Hitachi Energy as a pioneer in power industry and sustainability.
Following the merger of ABB’s Power Grids division with Hitachi, the company faced the dual challenge of rebranding as Hitachi Energy and communicating its leadership in the global energy transition. The opportunity was amplified by Expo 2020 Dubai and UN’s Climate Change Conference COP 27 in 2022 in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, and COP 28 in the UAE.
We drove communications for Hitachi Energy across nine countries, securing engagements for the company’s sustainability agenda, innovation showcases, and digital transformation expertise. Global and regional leaders of Hitachi Energy were positioned as thought leaders in renewables, while engagements at Expo 2020 and COP summits maximised impact. The result was consistent Tier 1 media coverage, recognition as a growth partner for GCC governments, and a reinforced reputation as a pioneer in digital and sustainable energy solutions.
